An unofficial APT repository that contains the latest Hugo for Debian, Ubuntu, and other Debian derivatives.
This APT repository, while unofficial, hosts the official extended deb files available from the Hugo release page. This APT repository refreshes daily around 1am UTC time. It supports AMD64 and ARM64.
Usage
- Install the APT repository:
echo 'deb [signed-by=/etc/apt/keyrings/hugo.gpg] https://hugo-apt.8hob.io latest main' | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/hugo.list
- Trust the signing key:
sudo mkdir -p /etc/apt/keyrings && sudo wget -O /etc/apt/keyrings/hugo.gpg https://hugo-apt.8hob.io/signing-key
- Install the latest official Hugo:
sudo apt update && sudo apt install hugo
How is this Repository Built?
The scripts that generate the APT repository are available on GitHub. The execution of the scripts is defined in a GitHub Workflow, which regularly deploys the APT repository to GitHub Pages.
